Kiewit, in partnership with Pure Michigan Business Connect program (PMBC) and DTE Energy, is working to connect its purchasing teams to price-competitive, quality-driven Michigan suppliers at the first-ever 2018 Kiewit Supplier Activation Day. The opportunity will provide Kiewit an opportunity to identify potential sub-contractors for work on the proposed St. Clair County combined cycle power plant currently pending regulatory approvals.
This exhibition is intended to increase the exposure of the State of Michigan's construction and industrial supply chain, and highlight the state's ability to provide high level service to companies bidding to compete current and future construction work. Companies completing this form will be eligible to attend and learn more about the combined cycle power plant project, as well as interact directly with select purchasers that will be responsible for building the plant. Applicants will be reviewed and considered by the Kiewit team to ensure the necessary industrial cross section is participating. The collective objectives for this collaboration will be new bid opportunities and new contracts for Michigan companies.
The 2018 Keiwit Supplier Activation Day will take place in March 2018 at MGM Grand in Detroit, Michigan.
