<p>MEDC’s Pure Michigan Business Connect is partnering with Lakeshore Advantage and The Right Place to host a virtual Michigan Furniture Industry Symposium, strengthening Michigan’s position as a leader in the commercial furniture manufacturing industry. This no-cost event will include an educational session on industry trends, followed by one-on-one buyer-supplier meetings to discuss procurement opportunities.<br>

On Thursday, May 13th, Pure Michigan Business Connect (PMBC) partnered with Lakeshore Advantage and The Right Place to host a first-ever virtual Michigan Furniture Industry Symposium, strengthening Michigan’s position as a leader in the commercial furniture manufacturing industry. The event included a webinar on industry trends, challenges and opportunities, followed by one-on-one buyer-supplier meetings to discuss procurement opportunities.
The webinar included a Welcome to the Industry presentation from the Business & Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association (BIFMA), an Industry 4.0 presentation from the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center (MMTC) and a robust panel discussion with notable industry companies.
