2020 Meet the Buyer
Are you interested in learning how to sell your products or services to the government? If so, this is a MUST attend event for you. Purchasing agents from the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce PTAC in collaboration with the Saginaw Future PTAC and local municipalities will be on hand to meet with you.<br>
Pure Michigan Business Connect (PMBC) is partnering with Flint and Genesee Chamber of Commercet to host this event and have lined up a great list of potential new business opportunities for you. Below is a partial list of who will be at this Meet the Buyer Event:<br>
State of Michigan DTMB Procurement, Bay Metro Transit,City of Flint, Consumers Energy, County of Oakland, Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce, Genesee County Purchasing Department, Genesee County Road Commission, MTA Flint, TACOM, U.S. Small Business Administration, Great Lakes Water Authority, MDOT, General Services Administration<br>
You will learn the process of doing business with each government unit, how to apply for and get notified of RFP/RFB's, and what the thresholds are for micro-purchasing opportunities. <br>
The event will include a one on one meeting led by the purchasing agents of each partner listed above. You'll have a chance to select purchaser/s to sit with for a candid conversation and hear about their micro-purchasing needs and bid process. <br>
Concurrently there will be “resource walk” with walk-up tables staffed by governmental organizations and service provider partners to answer questions, give direction and provide procurement advice. <br>
The event will begin at 8:30 am. There is limited seating for the one on one meeting, but open networking and walk-up tables will be available throughout the course of the event.<br>
