2024 Southwest Michigan Supplier Readiness Summit

Pure Michigan Business Connect (PMBC) is partnering with Southwest Michigan First and a regional partner group* to host the 2024 Southwest Michigan Supplier Readiness event on May 21st from 8:30am-12:00pm at Firekeepers Casino & Hotel in Battle Creek.   

This event is designed to support small businesses interested in showcasing their capabilities to local buyers by providing them with a variety of resources that will enable them to put their best foot forward, like:    

• Accessing capacity-building resources  
• Preparing for procurement opportunities  
• Perfecting their pitch  
• Growing and maintaining supply chain relationships  

The Summit will be ope8n to all suppliers looking for support to become buyer-ready, with a focus on opportunities for local and diverse businesses.  The event will include presentations on doing business with SW Michigan organizations, breakout sessions on supplier resources, and buyer-supplier networking.  

Confirmed purchasing organizations include Bronson Health, Charles River Laboratories, Denso, Kellanova, Kalamazoo Valley Community College, and Meijer Market Format.

*Additional buyers expected soon

There is no cost to attend though registration is required.  Registration is available through May 15th HERE.

*Regional partner group includes Albion Economic Development Corporation, Battle Creek Unlimited, and Choose Marshall.
