Are you a Michigan supplier interested in doing business with Kent County? Join the Michigan Economic Development Corporation’s Pure Michigan Business Connect (PMBC) team and the Kent County Purchasing Division for a no-cost Kent County Purchasing & Business Networking Event. This event includes several opportunities to meet with Kent County and engage in informational networking with Kent County business resource partners. Kent County will focus on a variety of commercial and residential construction; over $21,000,000 in construction contractor opportunities is anticipated over the next four years, and other business opportunities with the County; The event will be held in-person at the DeVos Convention Center in Grand Rapids, a virtual attendance option will also be available.<br>

Kent County is located in West Michigan and seeks a qualified and diverse vendor database to provide goods and services. Businesses do NOT need to be in West Michigan to participate; opportunities are open to statewide businesses.<br>

2. Kent County’s Community Action will provide guidance and answer questions regarding the U.S. Department of Energy’s “Weatherization Assistance for Low-Income Persons” program pursuant to Title IV, Part A of the Energy Conservation and Production Act of 1976, 42 USC 6861-6873, as amended.
3. Business Resource Partners: Business resource professionals will provide guidance and answer questions on resources available for you to grow your business!
4. Vendor Networking: Meet individually with business resource partners and business chambers in a networking conference area.
5. Kent County Departments and Services: Meet individually with Kent County Departments including
Community Action, Health Department, Human Resources, Parks Department, Public Works, Purchasing, and Sheriff's Office in a networking conference room.
ACCOMMODATIONS: Free parking at DeVos and light refreshments will be provided.
