A virtual event consisting of an educational webinar followed by buyer roundtables. The event will be hosted by MEDC’s event team on Zoom.

11a-12p: Informational Session - Disadvantaged Business Enterprise
The PMBC team, in collaboration with the East Michigan APEX Accelerator, Region 5 Saginaw
Future APEX Accelerator and West Michigan APEX Accelerator will work with logistics, transportation, and trucking agencies to help identify procurement opportunities and win contracts.
ROUNDTABLE:
PMBC, East Michigan APEX Accelerator, Region 5 Saginaw Future APEX Accelerator, and West Michigan APEX Accelerator will host buyers from Gerald Ford Airport, The Rapid, MDOT, Mass Transportation Authority, Amtrak , and SMART.
WEBINAR:
Following the roundtable, APEX will provide an informational presentation on the Disadvantaged business Enterprise program.
The roundtable/buyer-supplier meetings will follow a brief introduction from APEX Accelerators. The roundtable will consist of a “doing business with” presentation from each buyer, to include a brief overview of their procurement process. Each roundtable will be 20-minutes, with a buyer presentation and some time for questions, from up to 15 suppliers. The suppliers will stay put in their Zoom room, and the buyers will be moved (by the MEDC event team) through each room every 20 minutes.
