***IMPORTANT UPDATE: Michigan Food & Agriculture Summit postponed***
As the situation around COVID-19 (coronavirus) continues to evolve, we are approaching all of our operations – including events – with public health and safety as our priority and in accordance with Michigan Department of Health and Human Services recommendations. With this in mind, and in addition to the withdrawal of many of our key participants, we have decided to postpone the Michigan Food & Ag Summit, originally planned for this Tuesday, March 17 in Lansing. We apologize for any inconvenience and will reach out with additional communications as we learn more and evaluate the possibility of rescheduling the Food & Ag Summit, as well as other PMBC summits and events currently scheduled.
For the latest information on COVID-19 visit, Michigan.gov/Coronavirus or CDC.gov/Coronavirus.
For any additional questions or concerns regarding PMBC and the Michigan Food & Ag Summit, please contact: pmbc@michigan.org.

For the seventh consecutive year, MEDC’s Pure Michigan Business Connect and the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development will be hosting the Michigan Food & Agriculture Summit (formerly known as the Pure Michigan Agriculture Summit) at the Lansing Center..
This free event brings together purchasers including grocers, retailers, distributors, institutional buyers, or anyone looking to procure Michigan-made food, with suppliers from around the state - all with one common goal to strengthen Michigan’s food supply chain.
This dynamic one-day event was designed to reduce time from farm to fork, create supply chain connectivity, and launch a long-term commitment to strengthen Michigan’s food and agriculture industry. To view a prior summit video, click on:
The Michigan Food & Agriculture Summit will consist of facilitated match meetings between buyers and suppliers, based on purchasing needs, as well as additional open networking opportunities and presentations from industry experts.
Please contact tillk1@michigan.org with questions on participating.
