Pure Michigan Business Connect (PMBC), the Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development (MDARD) and the MSU Product Center are partnering with Meijer to connect their market format stores (Bridge Street, Capital City, Rivertown and Woodward Corner) to Michigan food & beverage suppliers through a local vendor event.
The event will include a presentation from Meijer market format store directors on how vendors can do business with their stores, resources available through the partner group (PMBC, MDARD & MSU Product Center), and pre-scheduled 1:1 meetings with vendors and buyers/category managers.
This event will be held in Grand Rapids in March and will be invite-only to include Michigan businesses that Meijer has selected for participation*. Selected businesses will be notified with specific date and location details.
A vendor application for participation is required and available here. Interested businesses should submit an application by February 3rd.
TIMELINE
1/3 - 2/3: Vendor Application open
2/6 - 2/10: Buyer review & selection of vendors for participation
Week of 2/13: Vendors notified
Week of 3/6: Event will take place in Grand Rapids
*Priority selection will be given to businesses who have not participated in the February, 2022 Meijer Market Local Vendor Event at Woodward Corner Market or the August, 2022 Capital City Local Vendor Summit in Lansing. However, vendors who have participated are still encouraged to submit an application.
